Honeywell Connected Recorder-25
The newest Honeywell Connected Recorder – 25 (HCR-25) is made for commercial air transport aircraft to accommodate mandatory flight data recording and mandatory cockpit voice recording in a crash survivable memory unit. This recorder enables operators and manufacturers the option to access the data at all times, resulting in the potential for better maintenance predictability and operational insight through data analytics. In addition, in the event of an emergency, the data on board will be quickly accessible to investigators. The new HCR-25 will surpass the requirements of the upcoming 2021 European Aviation Safety Agency minimum 25-hour cockpit voice recording mandates. Flight Data Recorder (FDR)
The HFR5-D FDR is a crash survivable recording device made for commercial air transport aircraft to accommodate mandatory flight data recording in a crash survivable memory unit. The flight data input is an ARINC 717 data stream from a flight data acquisition unit (FDAU) or similar equipment. The HFR5-D FDR retains the most recent 25 hours of recorded flight data in solid state crash survivable memory.
Cockpit Voice Recorder (CVR)
The HFR5-V CVR with data link recording (DLR) system is made for commercial air transport aircraft to accommodate mandatory cockpit voice recording. It simultaneously records four channels of audio present at its inputs. The HFR5-V CVR retains the most recent 2 hours of recorded information in solid state crash survivable memory.
Lightweight Recorders
Honeywell’s lightweight flight data and cockpit voice recorders utilize a modular crash-survivable memory unit (CSMU) to protect the solid-state voice recording memory. In a crash, the CSMU retains the most recent two hours of audio, digital and timing information. Also, our two-hour lightweight cockpit voice recorders are FAA compliant with new mandates for data link recording. We currently offer several light weight cockpit voice recorder options including the lightweight combined (429 INPUT); the lightweight combined (717 INPUT) and the lightweight FDR.
